Deaths and Funerals.

Mrs. J.L. MOORE, 77 year old, died this morning at her home, one and one-half miles north of Elmont. She is survived by her husband and by two daughters, Mrs. J.B. HOLT of Elmont and Mrs. A.A. MILLER of Topeka. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Elmont church. Burial in Half Day cemetery.

Mrs. Helen JORDAN, 76 years old, died Tuesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Wakarusa Presbyterian church. Burial in Wakarusa cemetery.

Cuma SMITH, 39 years old, died Tuesday night at his home, four miles north of the city. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Second Baptist church. Burial in Rochester cemetery.

Mrs. Mary L. WEISS, 54 years old, died Tuesday at her home, 323 Chandler street. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Third Presbyterian church. Burial in Topeka cemetery.
