Hello Mema,
My great grandmother was Ida Mae Carter, b. 2 sept 1866, in Earlsville,
IL, daughter of Henry Augustus Carter and Harriet Merill Godfry. She
married Lee Arthur Knox on 24 dec 1885 in Solomon, KS. She died 24 sept
1958 in Clifton, KS, buried in Palmer, KS. She did not have a sister named
Catherine. Henry Augustus Carter was born in Vermont on 16 aug 1835, and is
buried in Meade, KS. They belonged to the United Brethren Church.
