Jerilyn, the Choguill line is described very well over three pages in the
book, "A History of the Humboldt, Kansas, Community, 1855 - 1988". It was
printed in 1988 by the Humboldt Historical Society, but am sorry to say it is out
of print and no copies are available. However, I have a copy, and would be
pleased to xerox those pages and snail mail them to you. I think it will answer
a number of your questions, although it won't help necessarily in contacting
and living descendants. Just let me have your address and it will be in the
mail.
Incidentally, the title page of the book states: "Compiled and Edited by
Genevieve L. and Harold S. Choguill, 1988".
