Kenneth F. Broyles, 91, of Potwin, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Newton.
Servies will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Potwin Christian
Church, with Rev. Rick McNary officiating. Interment will be at McGill
Cemetery in Potwin.

He was born June 24, 1909 to Henry Follen and Almedia Montgomery Broyles
in Burns. He attended Burns High School.

On July 9,1933, he was married to Betty Lou O'Keffe in El Dorado. He was
a retired farmer and water superintendent for the City of Potwin. He was
a member of the Potwin Pride Committee, Potwin Lions Club and the Potwin
Christian Church.

Survivors include; his wife of Potwin; sons, Robert Bryoles of Albuquerque,
N.M., James Broyles of O'Fallon, Ill., and Daniel Broyles of Wichita; daughers,
Shirley Hinnen of Albuquerque, N.M., Donna Whiteside of El Dorado and Marilyn
Coats of Potwin, a brother, Leon Broyles of El Dorado; a sister, Alice
Angell of Raytown, Mo.; 18 grandchldren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Wilbur Broyles; a sister,
Ota Stapleton; a son-in-law, Chuck Coats; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, and family will
greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Bob Lamb Funeral Home, which
has the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Potwin Christian Church
and Wheat State Manor, Whitewater.
