Hi Bonnie, I've noticed your search of the Aines/Aynes name in several genealogy areas. My name is Wendy Yagle- I am related to the name through my Father Ralph W. Yagle (Crecelius) his father was Russel Crecelius, his Mother was Cona Blanche Copher, her mother Samantha Heady married Andy J. Cofer/Copher - the person I am trying to research is Fannie Aynes m.Thomas Cofer/copher. At my Great grandmother Cona's funeral in 1984, she was 95, it was stated that she was of Native American ancestry. I was 30 something at the time and I had never before heard any thing about being of Cherokee descent. This has led me into doing genealogy.
