ISO information on the following brothers and their families. These men were sons of Meshach HAILE (1774-1848) and Elizabeth (nee MAXWELL) HAILE (179_-1852), who married in Bedford Co, TN, in the 1820s, then moved to Washington Co, IL, in the early 1830s. In addition to the 3 men named below, Elizabeth gave birth to at least six other children, and Meshach had at least 3 more from a previous marriage.

( ) Wm G HAILE bn ca 1823 TN, moved to IL, then to KS; he died sometime after the 1885 Kansas State Census
..md#1 Sarah Ann BENEDICT in IL; She died in IL after giving birth to at least 3 children
..md#2 Elizabeth A A KEITH in IL; She gave birth to at least 3 children
..may have md#3 Lubertha (nee unknown); no record of any children for this union

( ) Thomas M HAILE bn 1831 TN, moved to IL, then to KS, d 1897 KS
..md Lavina A JUSTICE in KS, and she gave birth to at least 6 children

( ) Newton Jasper HAILE bn 1838 IL, moved to KS, d 1907 KS
..(dba Jay HALE; ref 1904 book on citizens of this county).
..md Serena Jane JUSTICE (dba Renee) in IL, and she gave birth to 4 children
..Serena was a sister of Lavina A (JUSTICE) HAILE

Elizabeth (MAXWELL) HAILE was a sister of my g-g-g-GF, and I am compiling a listing of names and dates for as many of their father's descendants as possible. I have preliminary information on these 3 men, but am curious to know if anyone may have more detail(s).
