I also remember visiting an aunt Frankie Darnell at a nursing home while out visiting Kansas with my grandmother Doris (Bibb) Darnell. So, I think we are somehome related. Her father's name was J.M. Darnell as mentioned in an article, The Western Star, 26th of Oc 1971, family reunion of the Darnell family. Other family members were Oral D, Jack, Elta, Beuhlah, Thelma, and Irma. I think these are all correct. Any other information on the Darnell family would help in my search, as I don't know anything further back than this.
