HI all,
Here is a message from Tom Wilson. He is possibly interested in taking over
the Cowley County pages and he will maintain them. He has asked for some
help in assisting him in finding some answers to his family line here in
Cowley County. Are you all up for the challenge. Read the message below
and see about his family. Thanks Tom for offering.
Steve

Okay Steve,
I'll make a deal with you. First of all, I don't know much about
computers and I may have to call on you for help quite often, at least
at first. Second, I need those people in Listserve to come thru for
me. I think I might be the end of this particular Wilson line, and I
want to try to put together a family tree while I still have time.
I know practically nothing about my paternal side of the family. My
Grandfather was named Thomas Jud (or Judson) Wilson. I've been told he
was born in Illinois 4 March 1874, migrated to Kansas where he married
Emma Marie Norton(b.13 Jul 1884) in December 1900. They had a son named
Harold Jud Wilson, b.11 October 1901 in Burden, KS. In 1903 they
migrated to the Oakland, CA area. Other members of the Norton and
Wilson families, of which I have no record, also settled in the same
area. There was also a "Grandma Leoffler"(sp) involved, but I'm not
sure with which side of the family. Think y'all can find something to
help me out? You do, and I will...
