John Pierce(1819-1900) originally born West Virginia, then migrated to
Indiana with his father and family prior to moving to Cowley County, Kansas
ca 1880's.

John had sons Buford, William, Madison, Homer and made the run into Kay
County, Oklahoma where he died in 1900.

He had granddaughter in Winfield, Kansas (Cowley Co.) named Farnsworth.

His wife, Lavina Jones Pierce, had brother living in Arkansas City, Cowley
County...Philip Jones.
