Cemetery. Arletha was born 03 July 1891 in Kansas, and died 27 July 1967 in Cowley
Co., Kansas. Melvin and Arletha buried Atlanta Cemetery. [Melvin worked for my Dad
on the Dugan Ranch southwest of Atlanta - when I was born in 1936, Melvin and
Arletha named me "Shirley Ann" after Shirley Temple, I was told . They were the only
ones who called me "Shirley Ann". I have letters from Arletha written in the 1950s,
after I married and lived in Calif., addressed to me - "Shirley Ann".].
