Hi Gem,
Many thanks for the reply.

I have the information on the two children Dennis and Andrew, but the mother
Catherine did not die in 1857 and went on to have 7 more children including
Dennis 1864 and Andrew 1869.
Catherine died 6 days after her husband John and days before sons John and
Daniel, all died of a type of pneumonia.

I was just trying to pin down the year of arrival in Kansas as I have so
much on John and Catherine's descendants. John and Catherine are my
husband's great great grandparents.
