> Wanda, There is no Genealogical Society that I know of in Elk County. All
records for Moline would be in the Elk County Courthouse in Howard, Ks. The
County Clerk, Neva (I don't know her last name) is a very gracious lady, and
is willing to look up records. The Court Clerk has land records from 1871
to present, headstone books, births and deaths 1885-1911, marriages 1871 to
date, and school census for 1906 to 1966. The district court has probates,
estates, and wills. She said to be sure to check the affidavit book, if
nothing is found in the probate records.
