Alma,
Does the library have a index for deaths
after 1911? My greatgrandfather, John A. DAY,
lived in Ottawa from about 1915 to the 1930's
and 40's and possibly died in Ottawa. He worked
for the railroad car shop for a while then
was a special officer for the police department
for a while. He was also supposedly in the
county jail for a few years from about 1924 to
1928.There address while living in Ottawa
was 811 N Cedar. Might there be any thing
available at the library that could help me?
Thanks again
Michael Day
