Whew-I'm been busy checking out all the urls you sent to me.
This is going to take a while < smile >....
THANKS,
J&D
I don't know how helpful this might be but there are two books about
Bretheran
Church folks in Gove County mentioned in the Gove County KSGenWeb books
and
articles page at:
http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/gove/books.html
Included with the titles are Kansas library locations. You might try
contacting the holding libraries to see if they can figure out anything
for
you. One of the libraries mentioned for one of the books is the
Northwest
Kansas Library System in Norton, Kansas. I'm guessing here... but they
might
be willing to lend the book... just a guess so dont' quote me! Their
homepage
is located at:
http://skyways.lib.ks.us/kansas/nwkls/norwest.html
Another possible source is the Kansas State Historical Society. Their
webpage
is located at:
http://www.kshs.org/
They have a reference question email address,
You could ask them about church archival collections
in
Kansas and if they know where the Church of the Bretheran records might
be
kept.
I hope this is of some help.
