I just read your message. John Kochert, born 8-4-1863 was my ggrandfather.
Julia Rose, his wife, was my ggrandmother. Their son Elmer Kochert was
my grandfather. He married Anna Mertens. Their daughter Marion Lorraine
is my mother. John Kochert, I have a lot of info. on. There is a book about
the Kocherts that I got alot from as well as some family searching by other
members. Julia Rose, I don't have much. She was the child of Frederick
Rose, born 8-15-1839 and Jane(Johanna, Juliane) Steinhoff, born 9-28-1845(1844)
in Germany. Frederick was the son of Jacob and Margaret Rose. Jane Steinhoff
was the daughter of Henry Steinhoff Sr. and Julia Yost(Just). If you have
any more than that I would love to know about it. Thanks, Linda
