Hi, List...

My husband and I visit the cemeteries around our area where our ancestors/relatives are buried and transcribe from the headstones, sometimes taking pictures (when I can remember to take my camera, haha). Thought it might be helpful to pass along the URL to our page in case there might be someone out there who needs to peruse the transcriptions once in a while for their own roots. I have Reno County and Harvey County cemeteries on one page, which is http://www.oned-onej.com/carmichael/cem_inscriptions.html Cemeteries we are working on are:
Burrton Cemetery, Harvey County
Fairlawn Cemetery, Reno County (just starting)
Greenwood Cemetery, Harvey County (just starting)
Halstead Cemetery, Harvey County

Laurel Cemetery, Reno County
Valley Township Cemetery, Reno County
And if anyone ever recognizes names from the transcriptions, please let us know...most all of these are our ancestors and we might be related!
