H.B. KELLEY was born in Estel county, Kan., Aug. 24, 1832, and died in Arrington, Kan., August 24, 1906, of heart failure. Mr. Kelley came to Kansas from Kentucky in 1857 and lived in Muscotah, Kan., for 7 years. He then came to Arrington where he lived at the time of his death. A wife and two daughters survive him, Mrs. Davie MARTIN of Coffeyville, and Miss Nannie at home with her mother. Tow children have preceded him to the "great beyond." The funeral was preached at the home Saturday morning, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Estes grave yard on Straight Creek. His family have the deep sympathy of every person in the entire community.
(Note: Typed as printed in newsaper, but do believe that should be Estel, Ky. and not Kan.)
