Died, on the 9th day of August, at the residence of her son, Grove, in this city, Mrs. S.L. BECKWITH; aged about fifty-five years; of spinal paralysis. Mrs. Beckwith was a sister of O.U.W.W., and Frank NAYLOR. She was born and lived all her life, with th exception of the past eight months, in Morgan county, Ohio. She was an invalid for the past two years and during the last was brought to the home of her son as a last hope of helping her condition and stated that if she must die she wanted to be buried beside her sister and father. She was a great sufferer, but everything possible for living hands to do was done for her comfort.
Her remains were laid to rest Sunday afternoon. The attendance was certainly very gratifying to the mourning friends. The sympathy of the community goes out to her son Grove, his sister, and other relatives of the deceased.
