Miss Lucy RANDOLPH is ill with the measles.

Thos. CURRY will move into the house to be vacated by Rob't MILLER next week.

W.B.COLLETT of Atchison the well known insurance man was out Tuesday transactin business.

Rev. T. B. ADELL, preached the funeral sermon of Mrs. Emma HIPPLE who was buried at Nonrovia last Friday.

A marriage license was issued Monday to Wm. L. RUSSELL of CHapman, Kas, and Miss Hattie M. HENSEY of Cummings by Judge HOOPER of Atchison county.

Miss Stella TURNER who taught the Ellerman school last winter returned to her home in Emporia Monday. Miss TURNER made many friends while here who will greatly miss her.
