A. MONTGOMERY and Scott EASDALE have just completed a neat little stone walk for James RAINES.
F.G.RAINES has sold his residence property to Mrs. Julia TUTTLE for $650. Mr. RAINES will continue to occupy the house.
J.W. ROUSE has built a new barn on his lot put down new sidewalk and made other improvement on his premises.
Thomas PAINE's front door yard is a veritable flower garden and is certainly a beautiful piece of personified loveliness.
James BLUE, who is working the southeastern counties of Kansas, in the interest of the Mount Hope Nursery of Lawrence has been quite sick for the past week.
We welcome that old esteemed friend of every one, ex-Postmaster CARVER back to our city again, he having moved to the Lemon house on Elm Street.
Mrs. Julia TUTTLE has returned to her home south of Lawrence. She has been here ministering to the wants of Mrs. Fred HASS, her daughter, who has been quite sick for several days.
