GRAND AFFAIR

The dance at DIGG's hall here Monday night was a success in every particular and eclipsed anything of the kind ever given before in Perry. The hall was filled with lovers of the merry dance. Everybody was glad he was alive, glad he was there and was gladder still that his best girl was there. The order was perfect, music fine and the management all that could be wished for. Expressions of satisfaction came from everybody as to the delightful time that was had. The merry throng tripped the light fantastic toe until the wee small hours of morn, when their thoughts and footsteps were directed home, sweet home, and were soon rapped in the arms of morpheus.
The dance was given under the management of Messrs. P.J.MALAY, Joe BOYLE, and Johnnie LEE. Proceeds amounted to quite a nice little sum which will go for the benefit of the Perry Cornet band.
