Quite a scene was gazed upon by our people her last week. A certain Hypnotist came to our city and gave several entertainments during one of which he put a man to sleep and that man remained asleep for a time of 24 hours at the option of the Hypnotist, and while asleep lying in the window of DICK Bros. drug store, he was controlled by the Hypnotist one block away. This is a problem for modern scientists.

Wm. BANE living near Williamstown has been quite sick with stomach trouble.

Bert PRESGROVE, age 18 years, died yesterday afternoon after a short illness with pneumonia.

The daughter of Robt. HAYNE near Williamstown died Thursday night after a few days illness. She showed signs of recovery at one time, but took a sudden relapse and died shortly afterwards. Her remains were laid to rest Friday. We extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives and friends.
