Bought Home; Will Move to McLouth.
Mr. and Mrs. David E. McDONALD are the new owners of the L.L. DAVISON dwelling house in McLouth. It does not necessarily follow that the McDONALDS will be moving immediately from the farm to McLouth, but rather a step looking to the future, when the labor of tilling and caring for 320 to 480 acres of farm land becomes too laborious for David's greaying temples, not forgetting the care of the dairy herd, the poultry and the garden which the good wife marshalled so efficiently. When the time comes for the McDONALDS to "lay down de shubble and de hoe," the people of McLouth will welcome them into the fold with wide open arms.
The three sons of the McDONALDS, Buefore, Harlan, and Kermit, are all making the Army their career.

The Wallace ROGERS family has moved from Lawrence to the ERICKSON farm. Thommy and Carol have enrolled in the McLouth Grade School.

Mr. and Mrs. John PETRIE and family of Kansas City and Mr. and Mrs. James SMITH and family of Topeka were Sunday guests at the Dan PETRIE home. (Woodstock)
