The Kansas New Era

Management Changed.
The management of the New Era Printing Company has changed hands. D.F. DRUCKEMILLER, who has been Business Manager from the time of the organization of the Company, but who owned none of its capital stock, retires from his office with the good wishes and confidence of the company. He is succeeded by A. W. MOORE, who is an old Kansan and who has been connected with the Press at Atchison, Holton, Dodge City and Newton. He is, therefore, no stranger to the people of this section of the State. Having purchased a one fourth interest in the capital stock of the New Era Printing Company, Mr. MOORE is thoroughly identified with the interests of the Company and with the prosperity of Valley Falls and of Jefferson County.

By means of the telephone, communication has been opened between Boston and Salem, a distance of 20 miles. SOngs are heard that distance and recognized , both vocal and instrumental, and a known voice is recognized as such, through that distance, without any mistakes. What an age of wonder!
