E.S. BOWMAN and wife were presented with a fine daughter Monday night.

A Few Accidents.
DENNEY.
Last Sunday afternoon the ten year old son William DENNEY, met with a very painful accident. While at play he jumped upon a snag which ran into his foot and stuck fast. He was brought to Dr. JONES who pulled the snag out and gave relief to the little fellow.

REARDON.
On Wednesday Perry REARDON was hit in his left eye by a spent bullet from a target gun in the hands of his cousin Emmett CRAY, that gave him much pain for awhile. The accident occurred at the farm of A.P. REARDON, three fourths of a mile south of this city and in a peculiar manner. Young CRAY fired at a post which he hit, flattening the ball which glanced off hitting Perry who was standing twenty five feet away and at one side, resulting as above stated. It was fortunate for Perry that the force of the ball was so near spent or he might have lost an eye, but as it is he will only have a sore eye for a few days.

PARSONS.
Yesterday morning a young man called "Reddy" PARSONS, who was working for Bill HARKER, four miles north of this city, while repairing a hay rack, accidentally struck his right instep with the corner of an ax, which made a deep cut, penetrating the bone. He was brought to the drug store by Tom SHEPHARD, where Dr. RANKIN dressed the wound. The patient was very week from the loss of blood when he arrived here but will probably pull through all right.
