The rats ate up a pai of canary birds for Mrs. Mart VANDRUFF Tuesday night.

Jim BLACK will have a public sale at the old John FOWLER farm three miles northeast of McLouth on Saturday, September 19, consisting of 30 two year old steers, 7 yearling steers, cows, calves, bull, sows, shoats, all kinds of farm implements. 12 months credit, 5 per cent discount for cash on sums over ten dollars.
