D.W. DANIELS has been attending court at Oskaloosa this week.

Wes GUEST was in Leavenworth las Saturday on pension business.

Jeff METHENY was in Leavenworth, Wednesday after more groceries.

Logan HICKERSON who recently received a pension has taken his discharge from the Soldiers Home and will make this city his future headquarters.

Frank KELLER and his sister Miss Walla, left here last Monday morning for California, where they go to seek their fortunes. They were accompanied by a couple of young gentlemen from Tonganoxie.

The city council at its meeting last Monday night, ordered the building of a number of long needed crossings. These crossings are an absolute necessity these muddy days. It is a move in the right direction.
