G.H. PIERSON Passes Away.

Gideon H. PIERSON, for 18 years actively engaged in the live stock commission business on the Kansas City stock yards, died at his home in Kansas City, Kas., at 6 o'clock this morning, aged 67 years. Mr. PIERSON had been confined to his home and bed about 10 days with pneumonia, which gradually grew worse during the past few days. The deceased had an extended acquaintance among the shippers and stockmen generally. Beside his wife, two sons, W.E. PIERSON and Charles PIERSON, both of Kansas City, also one daughter, Mrs. BRUSH of Minnesota, survive him. --Drovers Telegram, Feb. 4.
Mr. PIERSON, some 20 years ago, lived in this locality, where he has many friends among the older inhabitants, who will sorry to learn of his demise.
