The St. James Hotel
J.D. QUANEY has purchased of Mrs. Emma GLEASON the Perry Hotel, and took charge of the hostelry on Jan. 8. He has thoroughly overhauled the place, putting everything in first-class condition, and is prepared to take care of both transient and regular boarders. Mr. QUANEY's long experience as a restaurateur, ahs thoroughly fitted him for the hotel business, and he is "at home" when it comes to catering to the human appetite. He is at all times very courtious and considerate of his guests, and proposes to spare no pains to get the best things to eat. He proposes to conduct the hotel in a manner that will make it second to none in eastern Kansas and a credit to our little city. It is upon this basis that he solicts and hopes to merit a fair share of the public patronage.
