While at McLouth the other day, Mr. C.R. WOLCOTT took us through his Furniture establishment, which was brim-full of every thing in that line, including caskets, &c. He is a clever man to deal with.
C.R. WOLCOTT, of McLouth, Kans., Undertaker, and Dealer in all kinds of Furntiure, keeps a good supply on hand, and at reasonable prices.
Mrs. Capitola COOK visited our sanctum last publication day, and induced us to purchase two tickets in a drawing for a quilt, the proceeds to be applied to the procurring of an organ for the school house in the Lowrie district.
Spring Hill Gleanings.
Roads improving.
Farmers busy sowing oats.
Miss Jenny TYLER closed a successful term of school last Friday with a dinner and spelling in the evening.
Harry CARTER who has been visiting home folks, is now located at Piper.
L.M. LOW made his parents a short visit this week.
Miss Annie HARRIS, of Potawatomie county, has been visiting in the neighborhood.
J.W. IJAMS has gone to Oklahoma with his brother, V.J. IJAMS of Osawkie.
E.L. CARTER is building a large barn.
Mrs. C. COOK and Miss Anna CARTER have already succeeded in getting $26.30 with which to purchase an organ for the district. We think an organ would be a benefit to the Sabbath school, and hope they will succeed in their undertaking.
