The Valley Falls New Era
Thursday
November 22, 1906
Miss Mamie ROBERTS left Tuesday for Cripple Creek, Colo., hoping to benefit her health and maybe to find a wedding ring.
Max BOYER has taken his last trip to New York as a poultry conductor. The first of the month he will resume his place at HAUCK's store.
P.C. REED of Reading Kansas, spent Monday night with his daughter, Mrs. Albert SCHULER, on his way home from Kansas City. He had been out west buying three loads of cattle.
Earl JACKSON, mail carrier, now rides his route in a neat covered two wheeled rig made at Valley Falls, a kind of cope in which he is protected from wind and storm. John BAILY made it for him.
