Sam HUNTER lost two of his horses this week.
The W.W.S. was entertained by Miss Isa ALLEN, Tuesday night. About 100 were present and four new members were admitted to the Society. The hostess served ice cream and cake and the receipts were $5.50. The next meeting will be July 29 with Robert JEFFERIES.
Mrs. Claud MLLER very pleasantly entertained the Midway Ladies Aid Society last Thursday afternoon. After the business session and the short program, the hostess served a luncheon of sandwiches, pickles, salad, cookies and coffee. Luncheon receipts $3.75. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Ed SAYLOR, July 15th.
Mr. and Mrs. VOGEL and daughter, Mrs. Lennie DICK,sited last Sunday at Topeka and Mrs. Roy VOGEL and daughter returned home with them for a few days visit.
