Mrs. Wm. STANIFORD, who has been confined to her bed for the past two months, is reported as improving this week.

The proof of the Will of Mrs. Maria HUDDLESTON deceased, was called for hearing in the Probate Court on the 11th, and was continued until the 30th of June on account of the temporary absence of one of the subscribing witnesses to the will.

Mrs. NEWMAN and Mrs. COX, of Edgerton, Mo., came over this week to visit and also assist in caring for their sister, Mrs. STANIFORD, who has been ill for some time.
