Grindol--Worthington.
The marriage of Miss Rosa GRINDOL to Mr. Charles WORTHINGTON of Lecompton, Kansas, was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr.and Mrs. S.A. GRINDOL of Perry, Kansas, at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, March 17. The Revf. Merle H. WHITLOW read the sermon. The bride wore a gown of silk georgette over ivory satin, and carried a shower of white carnations. The maid of honor, Miss Ivah WELTER, wore a gown of white gandie and carried pink carnations. Mr. Wm. GRINDOL, brother of the bride, acted as best man. Little Oma EMRY was ring bearer. Mrs. EMRY played the wedding march.
The guests were: Mrs. Ralph GRINDOL, Mr. and Mrs. Ben GRINDOL, Mrs. Frank GRINDOL and children, Mrs. Sam JOHNSON, Mrs. Joe EMRY and daughter of Grantville, Kansas, Mr. and Miss WORTHINGTON, Rosa WORTHINGTON, Mr. and Mrs. John WORTHINGTON, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. GOFF of Lecompton, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. WELTER and son Vance and Mrs. M.H. WHITLOW of Perry, Kansas.
