25th Wedding Anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy GRINDOL celebrate the 25th anniversary of their marriage, Oct. 6, 1953.
Saturday evening, Oct. 10, Mr. and Mrs. GRINDOL were honored at a dinner at Norman's Chicken Farm at Topeka by Mr. and Mrs. Frank LANNING and Mr. and Mrs. Jack WELTER. After the dinner the sextet returned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. LANNING where a surprise awaited the GRINDOLs for several neighbors and friends had gathered to help them celebrate. Included were Mr. and Mrs. Bill GRINDOL, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin GRINDOL, Mr. and Mrs. Carl EVANS, Mr. and Mrs. Earl WELCH, Mr. and Mrs. George ALLEN, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman BELL, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene PLUMMER, Mr. and Mrs. Charles STUART, Mrs. Una SHOEMAKER, Mike TRYON and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon LITCHENSTERN.
They all enjoyed an evening of square dancing. Refreshments of coffee and cake were served.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy GRINDOL were presented some lovely silver gifts. We wish to extend to Roy and Cecile sincere congratulations and the best of wishes, too.
