The Court Grind.
Judge MYERS convened court Monday, and up to Thursday noon the following cases had been disposed of:
State vs. Benedict MYERS, for violation of prohibitory law, case dismissed by county attorney.
Wm. MOONEY, the youngster from Rock Creek who broke into Coffey's store proved to be an escaped inmate of the Topeka Reform school, and an officer of that institution came down and took him back last Friday.
State vs. Wm. WALLACE charged with throwing at and breaking the windows of a Rock Island railway car when in use. Defendent plead guilty. The penalty is a term in the penitentiary.
Of the divorce cases BEETS vs BEETS was continued; COOK vs COOK, REINHARD vs. REINHARD, OLDRIDGE vs OLDRIDGE, SMITH vs SMITH, GREIBSCH vs GREIBSCH, were granted, STEELE vs STEELE continued.
Adderhold vs A.T. & S.F. Ry.--continued as per stipulation.
Portsmouth Saving Bank vs. M.P. HILLYER et al, continued for further service.
GOODRICH vs NOBLE continued by consent as was also the case of WHITMAN vs HILLYER.
LESTER vs KIMBALL set for second Tueday.
CRITCHFIELD vs SMITH el al set for next Monday.
In re the estate of Millie FISHER, deceased, dismissed by plaintiff.
BRUCE vs BRUCE continued as per stipulation.
BOWMAN vs KLYMENZEWKI as administrator, plaintiff allowed thirty days there after to file answer and case continued.
JOHNSON vs BRAMMELL el al., judgment rendered against defendant for $1218 with interest at 10 per cent and foreclosure and sale order after six months. Judgement in bar vs defendant Arthur McCOY in favor of Interstate National Bank for $1363.80, interest at 8 percent, declared a second lein.
WALTER vs BENNETT el al demurrer sustained and excepted to. Plaintiff allowed thirty days to file amended petition.
Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. vs. Irene ESHOM--sale confirmed and deeds ordered to purchaser.
the case of STUART by his next friend vs EVANS was taken up Wednesday morning and has been running up to the time of going to press at 1:30 today.
