Thomas Kneen Dies Suddenly.

Thomas KNEEN, who lived with his family about seven miles northeast of Perry, died suddenly Monday evening while doing the chores about the barn. He was stricken with apoplexy and died within a few minutes.
Mr. KNEEN was born June 13, 1861 on the Isle of Man. He came to Kansas in 1879, settling at Nortonville, where he lived until two years ago, when he moved on the present place. Mr. KNEEN was in his 61st. year. In 1898 he married Miss Julia E. KENYON. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Laura CHRISTIE of Dennison, Kansas, and Katie and George KNEEN who live at home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the home, the Rev. M.M. THORNE, preaching the sermon. A goodly number of neighbors and friends were out to pay their respects. The body was taken to Nortonville, where another service was held for those who could not attend the home service, and the body was laid to rest in the Nortonville cemetery. Mrs. KNEEN and children and other sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all in their loss.
