D.C. STINES and son, Daryl, left Thursday evening of last week on a motor trip to California, where they expect to make their future home.

Mrs. and Mrs. Ben WHITE left by auto this morning on a trip to Detorit, Mich., where they will visit their daughter, Mrs. J.L. RAINES and Mr. RAINES.

The Republican county central committee was organized last week with the following officers selected for the next two years: E.L. MORTON of Nortonville, re-elected chairman; Mrs. C.G. HART of Perry, vice chairman; Dora BARNES of Valley Falls, secretary, and G.L. SHIRLEY of Perry, re-elected treasurer.
