Mr. and Mrs. Sam BOWEN were delightfully surprised when their sons drove down Monday and spent the day cutting a years supply of wood for them. the company included Mr. Charles BOWEN of Falls City, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Dick BOWEN of Leona, and Mrs. James BOWEN of Fairview. The wood cutting took place on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Frank NYFELER. The family including Mr. and Mrs. BOWEN took dinner at the NYFELER home.
The little daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Ross SMITH have also had a siege of the measles.
Wood cutting, hauling feed, caring for new lambs day and night along with a dozen other jobs keeps the Mr. on this farm busy and no time to lean on his shovel.
