Marsh GEPHART and W.F. GILLULY appeared before the Supreme court at Topeka a couple of days last week.

P.M. GILBERT and wife were in the city Tuesday, making final settlement in the Caroline Wood case.

Geo. HAMM, sheriff elect, was in town Friday and Saturday of last week looking for a house. He wants to move up before the cold weather.

Ed O'BRIEN will move to town next Monday and will occupy the house across the street from Dr. McCREIGHTS residence, until he can find a place for rent more to his liking.

Ed PATTERSON's children who have been afflicted with scarletina for a couple of weeks are about recovered, and no new cases of the disease have been heard of.

Constable FRAME went up to Valley Falls Saturday for a couple of boys accused of shooting craps in the Ramsey billard hall here two weeks ago last Sunday morning.
