Dr. ENGLAND reports a girl baby born to James GREEN and wife of the Half-Mound neighborhood.

Mr. and Mrs. A. MOSER of Meriden spent Sunday evening with Miss Effie GRAY.

A Good Time.
Miss Florence CLINE closed her term of school at Bloomfield last Friday March 20. At noon the neighbors brought well filled baskets and prepared to spread the tables with all kinds of good things to eat. After the bountiful repast had disappeared and everybody had their fun, the house was called to order and a fine program given by the school. But while we enjoyed ourselves we missed the bright presence of one who could not be with us. At the close of the program customary remarks were made and thus closed a happy day. Prizes were awarded to George and Freeda JAMES, Ira ENGLAND, Clarence CRITES, Pearl and Martha RICHARDS.
