Now is the time to have your harness oiled. $1.00 per set at Machiels' harness shop.

One Minute is all the time necessary to decide from personal experience that One Minute Cough Cure does what its name implies.

Gone South To Seek Fame.
Two of our young men, George CONANT and Bert FAIRCHILD, started Wednesday night on a catch-as-catch-can trip to Port Arthur, where they expect to find wealth and fame awaiting them. We hope their fondest dreams become a glorious reality.

Married: at the M.E. parsonage Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock by Rev. Young, Mr. Henry R. DAVIDSON and Miss Fannie SEARS, both of Oskaloosa. They have gone to Brown county to visit a few days. They are a highly esteemed couple and have the best wishes of a large circle of friends.

Mrs. Cynthia COBB of the southeast part of the county was in town Monday on business with the probate court, and called at this office to get her name on the list for the best paper in the county. While transacting business at the court house for her Horace SCHAEFFER learned that her former name was Cynthia RAINES, and that she had stayed at their hourse 30 years ago. Schaeffer said it was like meeting a long lost sister.

Sheriff HAM took Harry MILLER, the young man who pleaded guilty to burlgary at the last term of court, to the reformatory at Hutchinson last Friday; and on Monday went to the Osawatomie asylum with Mrs. Mary BANNEKA, who was adjudged insane last week.
