Ozawkie Bulletin.
Mrs. Joe FROST received word Saturday night of the death of her brother, Elmer CHATMAN at Harveyville, Kansas. Mr. CHATMAN was drowned several weeks ago and his body just discovered, Mr. and Mrs. Frost attended the funeral Sunday.
Jackie HARDER went to Topeka Tuesday to fine employment.
Pfc. Alvin JOHNSON of the Marines is enjoying a furlough in the home town this week.
Ernest GERBER took the following Boy Scouts to Perry Tuesday afternoon to assist in the search there for the little five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett PORTER; John LINDQUIST, Max BAKER, Kenny GERBER, and Norman BRAMMEL.
Major and Mrs. Weldon BAKER and daughters of Topeka spent Saturday night and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert METZGER.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren CAMPBELL and Allen of Emporia sspent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy BAKER.
