District Court Proceedings.

Eugene L. LEWIS vs. Murry A. VERNER et al, sale confirmed and deed ordered to purchaser.

R.P SMITH vs. Geo. L. HAM as sheriff, Clara STEWART substituted as defendant.

Nelson O. DANNEFER vs. Rachel DANNEFER, divorce, decree granted; custody of children to defendant; property rights as per journal entry.

The injunction asked for by John MONTAGUE, et al, to prevent the building of the Whitley ditch, was denied, motion for re-hearing made and overruled and Judge KEELER, representing the plaintiffs, filed a notice of appeal to the supreme court.

The case of NICHOLS vs. the Santa Fe which was on trial when we went to press last week, was dismissed by the plaintiff without predjudice. After Attorney HOOK, for the company, demurred to the evidence on ground of insufficiency. Joe WATERS, representing the plaintiff, evidently thought the judge would sustain the demurrer so he asked to have the case dismissed without prejudice, which was done.

The case of FRASER vs. BOUSLOG, wherein it was sought to set aside a deed to some land in Rock Creek township, was decided in favor of the plaintiff, giving to Crawford the hay barn he had moved off the land in question.
