Grandma GIBBS is visiting relatives in Lebanon, Ind., and will be gone two weeks or more.

Misses Linda and Allie ELLIOTT, of Winchester, were in the city Wednesday, visiting friends and taking in the Normal.

Miss Jennie and Mr. Frank PERRY of near McLouth, attended the Epworth League anniversary meeting at the M.E. church Sunday evening.

Bert FAIRCHILD and Ollie TOWNSEND "joined out" with the Great American Shows that exhibited here Monday. "But they'll soon come back."

Cy KATHAN, of Rural township, was in town this morning. He brings up a lot of fresh, sweet country butter every Friday morning for which he finds ready sale.

Miss Kate PATRICK, of Oskaloosa, Kan., and Miss Florence SAPPINGTON, of Salida, Colo., have been visiting their cousin, Mrs. H.C. TUCKER, the past week.--Holton Recorder.

M.W. CUNNINGHAM and family are here on a visit with Mrs. CUNNINGHAM's parents, Geo JONES and wife. Mr. C. has been attending school at the State Normal at Emporia.
