Edwin Dicke.
McLouth.--Edwin H. DICKE, 63, McLouth, died Friday in an Oskaloosa nursing home where he had been about two weeks. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage a few years ago and also had a heart ailment.
He was born March 27, 1911, at Vassar in Osage County. He lived at St. Louis before he moved to McLouth in 1968.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Topeka Moose Lodge, No. 555. He owned and operated the Dicke Truck Line at McLouth.
He was married to Thelma HARDING, March 16, 1935, in Topeka. She survives.
Others survivors include a son, Thomas Dicke, Denver; four sisters, Mrs. Wilhelmina SMITH, Sonoma, Calif., Mrs. Elta FAIRCHILD, Gardenville, Nev., Mrs. Dorothy GRILLO, Syracuse, N.Y., and Mrs. Luella WEIKAL, 1920 Edgewater Terrance, Topeka; four brothers, Arnold Dicke, Cottonwood Falls, Elmer Dicke, Salina, Clarence Dicke, 620 N.E. 35th, and Alfred Dicke, 2221 Moundview Drive, Topeka; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the United Methodist Church at McLouth. Burial will be in McLouth Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home at Oskaloosa.
