Central Chapel.
Mrs. SLAWSON of Oakley, Kansas, came Sunday to spend the winter with her son, Ferg SLAWSON and family.
Will and John POTTORF are moving soon to a place near Ozawkie.
Sam REEDY has not been so well and is back in the hospital in K.C.
Mrs. Roy PETITT and Mrs. George POTTORF spent the weekend at Bashor, Kansas with Earl PETITT.
Mrs. Ferg SLAWSON was in Topeka Friday and Saturday taking treatments from her doctor.
Kenneth GRAMSE has a job with the Telephone company in Baldwin, Kansas.
The Albert EDMONDS family gathered at Garfield Park in Topeka, new Capper shelter house, for thier annual basket dinner. 55 were present of the family and Mr. and Mrs. Lee JUKES and sons, of St. Marys, also Mrs. Mary HASSETT, Topeka and Mrs. Emma LARNER of Oskaloosa. We enjoyed the dinner served on two long banquet tables, Mrs. Frances CLINE, Miss Wanda CLINKENBREARD, Miss Maxine THOMPSON and Miss Margaret Lee EDMONDS waited tables. It was a real day of pleasure for those present, games were played, singing, and men listened to the world series game by radio placed in the shelter house for entertainment. We adjourned thanking the care taker of the park for his kindness.
