Lone Tree Items by Jennie..

Mrs. Sylvia DOUGLAS was hostess to the Homemakers Club Thursday afternoon. Twelve members and four guests were presents. Tacking a comfort and embroidery was the work of the afternoon. After the business meeting, dainty refreshments were served. Club will meet Oct. 26 with Mrs. Mae DAILEY for all day. Roll call, one dish dinner or a short cut in meals.

We were glad to have Mrs. Sam BOWEN with us again. She is visitng her children, Mrs. Frank NYFLER and James BOWEN and families.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard PENCE and daughter Erma of near Dunavant and Wilbur JOHNSON were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul CASHATT and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest CASHATT.

John NORMAN retured to Camp Gruber, Okla. Tuesday after spending his furlough with home folks.
