J.W. WERT, was in Leavenworth Thursday.

A.B. DARNELL was in Platte City, Missouri last week.

Mrs. HOWLAND of Oskaloosa is visiting friends in town.

Miss Mary FIELD was in Kansas City two days last week.

Rufus OUSLER of Circleville visited Miss Eula Everett Tuesday.

Miss Alice McDERMOND has returned from a visit in Oskaloosa.

Miss Jo SMITH who is attending college at Parkville, is at home for a visit.

Miss Dora POPE went to Topeka Saturday where she will remain several weeks.

Mrs. Anna STEVENS of Kansas City is visiting her parents, Ed KIERNAN and wife.

Mrs. Louis STOEFFLER and son Orval left Monday for Davenport, Iowa to visit relatives.

Mr. LOGAN of Holton was in town Monday and while here sold O.C. KIRKPATRICK a fine Bush and Gerts piano.

Clint and Frank HAWLEY passed through town Thursday in a new Ford auto on their way to their home in McPherson.

Mr. and Mrs. George COOK have gone to Denver.

Mrs. James LEWIS and daughter, Mrs. Ote MYERS and children visited with John McCRACKEN near Valley Falls last week.

Miss Mable DRAKE of Los Angeles, California and Misses Hazel and Edna HARRIS of Leavenworth are visiting at R.N. McCLURE's.
