Deaths and Funerals.

Mrs. Corrine ROSE died at her home, 1335 Boswell avenune, Friday night. She is survived by her husband, Joe A. ROSE, two children, Clarence and Howard; her mother, Mrs. Agnes WODDLEY, of 1275 West street; four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services from the residence Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial in Prairie Home cemetery.

Mrs. Mildren HOATSON, age 23, wife of Lowell HOATSON, and daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. J.M. LEEPER, 603 Clay street, died Friday at her home in Oskalossa, Kansas. She was a former resident of Topeka and attended the high school here. She is survived by her husband, two children, Jesline and Dean, her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Walter MANGUS, age 30, a former resident of Topeka, died Dec. 15, in a Wichita hospital. He is survived by his wife; two sons; two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Fanny Tubbs JONES died December 17 at Oskaloosa, Kansas. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.K. TUBBS, formerly of Topeka, and the sister of Mrs. Martin BASSETT, of 1103 East Sixth street. The funeral was held at Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Isabel DEDHAM, age 81, died Friday at her home 215 Madison street. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery.

John M. ROSE, age 62, died thursday evening in a local hospital. The body will be taken to Waverly, Kan., for burial.

The funeral of Sydney COPE, age 22, who died Thursday at his home , 2600 Buchanan street, was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery.

MRs. I. Reed McCARTER, died Tuesday in Los Angeles, Cal. She had been a resident of Topeka for the past 45 years. She is survived by her daughter, Grace DIXON; two granddaughters, Norma and Lorance DIXON; a grandson, Ralph McCARTER, of Los Angeles; two sisters. Mrs. D.H. WINSLOW, Los Angeles, and Mrs. O.D. SKINNER and one brother, Peter PATTERSON. The body will arrive in Topeka Sunday afternoon.

John WALSH, died Thursday at 209 Kansas avenue. Funeral services from Shellabarger's chapel Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial in Topeka cemetery.

Flossie REYNOLDS age 16, died December 15 at her home in Pueblo, Colo. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Shellabarger's chapel. Burial in Rochester cemetery.

Mrs. Clara Alice FERGUSON age 26, died Friday in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Emmett FERGUSON; and two chidlren, Inez Juanita and Gerald Wayne; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus T. CHIPMAN, of 1229 North Van Buren street; and a sister, Jennie L. DURBIN, of 335 Polk street. Funeral services Monday morning at 10 o'clock from Conwell's North Topeka chapel. Burial in Rochester cemetery.

Word has been received of the death of Fred WILLIAMS in Omaha, Nebraska. He was formerly a resident of Topeka. he is survived by a sister, Mrs. jeff JOHNSTON,, a nephew, Clifford SHARPE. The funeral was held Thursday from St. Johns A.M.E. church, Omaha, Neb.

The funeral of Mrs. Clifford KNIGHT, formerly Miss Louise HEATH, of Topeka, who died in New Haven, Conn., Wednesday will be held Sunday afternoon at Penwell's chapel at 4 o'clock.

Mrs. Edith M. JAMES, age 37, died Friday morning at the home of her mother in Shorey. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. JAMES, her mother, Mrs. O.R. BRADFORD and one brother, Guy L. BRADFORD, 217 Wilson avenue. Funeral services from Conwell's North Topeka chapel, Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial in Rochester cemetery. No flowers.

Mrs. Eva MILLER, age 32, died Wednesday at her home in Chicago. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. RICHARDSON, 146 Winfield avenue. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Burial in Topeka cemetery.

Capt. Wesley BUFORD, 57, died this morning at 8:15 o'clock at the residence 1171 Lane street.

Mrs. Sarah HOLT, age 56, of 784 Buchanan street died this morning at a local hospital.
